IT IS WITH IMMENSE SADNESS THAT I CONVEY THE SAD NEWS OF THE PASSING AWAY OF OUR DEAR STAFF MEMBER, MRS REHANA ABBAS, WHO TAUGHT IN OUR AFTERNOON SHIFT FOR NEARLY 35 YEARS. SHE WAS AN EXTREMELY DEDICATED TEACHER WITH A CHEERFUL DISPOSITION COMPLETELY DEVOTED TO THE MAMA SCHOOL. SHE WILL BE SORELY MISSED BY THE STAFF AND STUDENTS .
SHE HAD BEEN TERMINALLY ILL BATTLING WITH CANCER SINCE PAST TWO YEARS. WE PRAY TO ALMIGHTY GOD FOR HER SOUL TO REST IN ETERNAL PEACE AND TO GIVE HER FAMILY THE STRENGTH AND FORTITUDE TO OVER COME THE IRREPARABLE LOSS. AMEEN!

I hope all of you and your children are well and safe at home. The COVID 19 lockdown has prolonged indefinitely and unfortunately schools won’t open on 1st June.
Despite the Government notification of April and May as summer vacation period, our teachers have been facilitating our students in distance learning.
In order to make up for the academic loss, we are currently working on the next phase of instruction that will begin from June.
The remainder of the syllabus missed since March shall be covered as much as possible during June and July. Worksheets, recorded videos, structured timetables for conducting online classes will be shared with you from time to time. This will enable us to bring the academic year 2019-2020 to a smooth close.
As soon as schools reopen, students will be promoted to the next grade based on their yearly performance as well as participation in distance learning programme.
I strongly urge you to involve yourselves with your daughters in the digital learning process by ensuring access to laptop/smartphone and internet connection which will enable them to responsibly attend each and every online session, complete homework assignments and meet deadlines. Attendance record will be maintained. Your full cooperation in this regard is highly recommended for your daughters’ academic and emotional well being.
I take this opportunity to salute and thank all those of our parents who are front line workers in this pandemic crisis.
Wishing you a happy Eid-ul-Fitr.
Stay home! Stay safe!
